HomeJames Bendell

About Me

Following his graduation from Rutgers, attorney Jim Bendell worked two years as a prosecutor. He then moved on to working a large part of his career, 16 years, as a litigator for insurance companies. While working at the insurance company, he focused on defending clients who were at fault for causing accidents and other forms of negligence. Following that experience, he focused his career on representing injured parties in court and ensuring his clients received fair and deserved compensation. With experience on both sides of the courtroom, James Bendell understands how insurance companies think and how to defend clients to ensure they get the compensation they not only deserve but are entitled to.

Bendell’s knowledge of the court system expanded with his occasional work as a Superior Court Commissioner and Judge Pro Tem. These positions include presiding over hearings and jury trials, giving him a unique and neutral perspective of the legal system. This extremely rare collection of legal knowledge and experience allows attorney Jim Bendell to have empathy for everyone from those charged with a crime to those injured in an accident; while always fighting for what his clients deserve. There are very few attorneys with over 40 years of experience, serving many roles within the court dedicated to defending Personal Injury Victims.

Client Relationships

Jim Bendell only accepts a few clients at a time to ensure he is able to give each client the attention and focus they need. Bendell works hard to use his extensive legal knowledge to help clients achieve their goals. Bendell works very closely with clients and provides consistent communication and updates via in-person, written and telephone communication, and through his firm’s cloud-based case management system. Bendell uses this system to send and receive documents on the same day to help avoid any delays and ensure speedy communication.
